of a certain longing

Life does not always give you what you hope for in a platter. Sometimes, if life is kind enough, your hopes will be dished out in tiny servings which may or may not fill up your tummy but it sure does whet up your appetite for more. I have many hopes and aspirations of my own. Maybe with a little luck and lots of hard work, I might be able to achieve them. For now, I have to say that I am thankful for what life has offered me. It has been a good year and I've enjoyed most of it. Thank you very much.
